The fast food chain’s website has marked record hits and two Top Ten awards from online information provider Hitwise. Eagle Boys recently took out fifth and sixth position across the past six months in the Australian Food and Beverage (Brands, Manufacturers & Restaurants and Catering) categories.
“We’ve really only just scratched the surface on how we can make our site better for our customers. From ordering online to finding your local store to learning more about the menu, we know pizza lovers are turning to the net. As we move forward, we want to make sure they not only find our site but also find it valuable.”
Eagle Boys MD Todd Clayton said the awards and visitation reaffirmed the effort that went in to the design and launch of the company’s revamped website 12 months ago. “The overall impact has been huge, with visits to the website increasing by more than 300 per cent and visits from various search engines by 164 per cent.
Hitwise collects the aggregate number of visitors to websites and ranks websites’ popularity. This is the first time Eagle Boys has been placed in its Top Ten. Visits to the Eagle Boys website, have jumped more than 300 per cent during the past 12 months, resulting in surge in online sales of more than 300 per cent.
